Join us for an empowering boudoir dream destination photography retreat to Greece! D. Phillips Photography is offering a limited number of client sessions as part of an epic women’s trip to the island of Santorini. Each client will receive her own uplifting individual boudoir session at a private cliff-side mansion as well as fun & cultural excursions in Oia and around the island.

During our 5 day, 4 night adventure we’ll take local trips including a privately chartered sailboat through the Aegean Sea, sunset dinner cruise, chauffeured tour of the island, wine tastings, and live music experiences. We’ll experience Greek culture at some of Santorini’s most beautiful and famous sites, indulge in traditional Mediterranean dishes, enjoy pampering self-love experiences, and have your own surreal boudoir photo shoot overlooking Oia’s signature cliff-side blue and white landscape. After the retreat, you’ll receive your chosen selection of 50 digital images for personal use.

How much is it?

The retreat starts at $5600 USD per person. Additional upgrades are available depending on which room you select. Want to room with a friend? Great idea. Share a suite and each of you will save $1200.

Are meals provided?

Yes, the price includes food & meals at the mansion prepared by our personal chef, accommodation, activities, and artwork!

• Indoor + outdoor solo boudoir photography session at sunrise or sunset with professional makeup styling

• Client’s selection of 50 digital files for personal use as digital downloads

• 4 nights accommodation in a luxury, cliff-side mansion overlooking the Aegean Sea. We are staying in literally the most premium village of Oia, Santorini with the best location. Authentically restored and decorated, our private gated property features multiple levels and bedrooms, 2 terraces, a rooftop jacuzzi, high end finishes, 24/7 personal concierge service, and the best views from the top of the island.

• All-inclusive breakfast on demand every morning from 8-11.30am and a group dinner every night; 24/7 personal concierge service, daily maid service both in the morning and afternoon; daily change of bed linen and towels; Jacuzzi towels, bath towels & robes provided; laundry & ironing service upon request

Where You’ll Stay

You’ll be staying in a spacious, multi-level mansion in Oia with 24/7 personal concierge service. Due to the unique nature of Santorini cave homes, each room layout is unique. If you’re traveling independently, fear not! So are most of our retreat guests. In that case, you’ll have single accommodations. Double accommodations are available by request for any retreat guests who would like to share a room together and save $1200 each. Double accommodations are available with a king bed or 2 single beds.

All payments are non-refundable. Please be aware that refunds will only be issued in the case of Retreat Cancellation. You will need to coordinate reimbursement through your travel insurance if you cancel your retreat spot. Your retreat spot may be transferred to another eligible individual at your own coordination should you no longer be able to attend. Neither D. Phillips Photography nor Flawless Faces by Dominique will be issuing refunds.

Santorini 2024 Itinerary

Subject to change, but here’s the plan!

Day 1: Wednesday April 10th beginning at 3pm

• Once you arrive on the island, you’ll receive a stress-free private pickup from Santorini International Airport and transfer to the mansion. Let your porters navigate the quaint streets and stairways of Oia while they carry your luggage to your accommodations. Danielle & Dominique will greet you at the mansion with a welcome drink, then you’ll have time to get settled and changed. Enjoy your first Santorini sunset from our rooftop terrace, where a private chef on-site will prepare our Welcome Dinner including authentic Greek appetizers, dinner, and dessert.

Day 2: Thursday April 11th

• 8 - 11.30am: All-inclusive breakfast is made to order every morning at each person’s request. You’ll be treated to a breakfast spread including: hot and iced coffee & tea bar, omelet/eggs, bacon, turkey & pork sausages, pancakes, french toast, croissants, bread, pastries, ham & cheese sandwiches, fruit salad, yogurt, charcuterie spread, orange juice, and more. There are no limits to quantity and preferences. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy requests can be happily accommodated with advance notice.

• Recover from jetlag with a relaxing aromatherapy massage.

• Later that afternoon we’ll enjoy a private chauffered tour of Santorini including stops in Imerovigli, Red Beach, and Pyrgos. We’ll have the chance to capture profile-pic-worthy images amongst the area’s signature blue roofs and white cycladic architecture, then finish with a group wine tasting and dinner overlooking one of Santorini’s most stunning volcano vistas.

Day 3: Friday April 12th

• Photo shoot day! Breakfast made to order in between sessions. When you’re not in front of the camera, you’ll have free time in Oia to wander the pedestrian-only streets and pop into local boutiques & cafes at your leisure, or have some solo time.

• 6.45am: Clients who reserved a sunrise boudoir session will start their makeup with Dominique, then their photo shoots will begin. Sunset sessions and makeup start at 4pm. Group dinner together after.

Day 4: Saturday April 13th

• Sunrise sessions and/or guided photography hike.

• 2 - 8pm: We’ve hired a privately chartered sailboat tour of Ammoudi Bay and the surrounding caldera. We’ll drop anchor at the Captain’s selected spots to go swimming in the hot springs, or simply relax on the top deck while soaking in the sunshine. Take in epic views of Santorini from the water while sipping on unlimited local wines. We’ll enjoy a grilled souvlaki dinner on board while the sun sets over the water, then view Oia after dark from the water.

• On our last night together, we’ll cap off the evening with drinks and live music at a locally owned taverna. After reminiscing on our favorite moments, we’ll say our see you laters until the next adventure!

Day 5: Sunday April 14th

• Breakfast then check out by 11am. You’ll have two options for your airport transfer time that day depending on your flight.

Santorini Photography Package

This dream Santorini photography experience has been designed to capture 50 exquisite portraits which are included in your package. Your chosen collection of 50 digital images will be delivered as digital downloads.

About three weeks after your retreat in Greece, you will be presented with the best images from your photo shoot, all treated with my personalized signature retouch. You'll select your favorite 50 portraits from these final images and have the option to purchase additional photographs, wall art, or an album at the time of your gallery viewing.

Interested in travelling to Santorini but not really wanting to do the full retreat? A Taste of Greece might be perfect for you!

Meet us in Santorini for a day! By popular request, this limited session can be shared with another person and includes a 2 hour photo shoot experience on-location in a luxury villa and in the heart of Oia. We’ll have time for pro makeup & 3 outfits. After your shoot wraps, you’ll enjoy a lavish brunch and aromatherapy massage, then relax at the villa. That afternoon, we’ll charter a private sailboat around the Aegean Sea, visit hot springs, enjoy yummy drinks and healthy snacks, and eat a freshly prepared authentic Greek dinner on the water during sunset. The day will be documented & after your session you’ll select your favorite 25 digital files.

Prefer not to go boating? Swap out your afternoon experience for a private island tour + sunset wine tasting and dinner, or an after dark boudoir experience! FAQs

So does non-refundable really mean non-refundable?

Yes, all payments are non-refundable. Remaining invoices are due by March 15th. If we have to cancel the trip, or it must be postponed due to events beyond our control, you will be offered the choice between a full refund or applying your payment to a future trip. If you have to cancel, you may submit a claim with your travel insurance, forfeit your payments, or you may transfer your retreat spot to another eligible individual at your own coordination. Should you no longer be able to attend, you are responsible for transferring your spot and payment with another eligible individual.

The reason retainers are non-refundable is that we start incurring costs from the moment someone presses “Add to Cart” — from credit card fees to rental deposits, our e-commerce platform, pre-trip planning, excursion details, meal planning, coordinating with our local vendors, and more. There’s nothing we want more than for our guests to enjoy the trip they have worked hard and paid for. Thank you so much for your understanding and respect of our need to enforce this policy strictly. We want to be here to travel with you for years to come!

Will I need travel insurance?

Yes, everyone will be required to have travel insurance for the duration of the trip. Don’t forget to check with your insurance and credit card provider for their coverage policies! World Nomads also offers insurance at incredibly affordable rates which will reimburse you in the case of cancellation, flight delay, medical issues, lost luggage, and more.

Will I have time to do my own thing?

This is your retreat and we want you to make it exactly what you want! There’s a lot to see and experience on Santorini, so we’ve created an itinerary that balances the best of that with some time to wander around the island or relax in the rooftop jacuzzi. Any time you want to dip out to have some “me-time” or do your own thing, that’s totally cool. After booking your spot you’ll receive a list of top recommended experiences on Santorini in case you’d like to go off and explore.

Can I do a payment plan and pay in installments?

Yes, you can pay in installments. Cash, credit and debit cards as well as PayPal Credit are accepted.

You have 2 options for payment plans:

1. Apply for PayPal Credit here. Then, go ahead and check out and select the option PayPal Credit. Pay your balance directly to PayPal over 6 months with no interest.

2. Start a payment plan by paying your $1500 retainer now, then future payments are due beginning January 1st and paid in full by March 15th, 2024.

Are men allowed to join the retreat/stay in the mansion?

This retreat is for women and non-binary people. We are so proud of the supportive, empowering energy of our clients and we know that you’ll love the safe and supportive vibe, too! If you’ll be visiting Oia separately, or with your sweetheart/group of friends, booking A Taste of Greece and sharing the cost might be perfect for you. A Taste of Greece is open to men too!

What about passports and visas?

You will need a valid passport to travel to Greece. Americans, Canadians, and most Europeans do not need visas to visit Greece for short-term tourist purposes.

Is there an age requirement?

You must be 21 years old or older to join our retreat.

During our stay in Greece, you’ll be joined by Danielle as your photographer, retreat host, and travel hype girl, and Dominique as your makeup artist, co-host, and glam enthusiast.

Danielle Phillips has 14 years of independent travel experience and has dedicated her professional career to celebrating women by creating empowering, confidence-building, self-love photography experiences. Danielle’s work encourages body positivity and self-worth by helping women embrace the power and beauty within themselves.

Dominique Smith-White is a multi-award winning makeup artist who has over 7 years of experience running her own studio based in Clarksville, TN. Danielle and Dominique have worked together for years and their businesses have collaborated together on 100+ mutual photography clients of all ages and skin types, tones + textures.

The actual session was nothing short of incredible! I felt extremely comfortable the whole time and had so much fun! The hair/makeup artist listened to what I wanted and captured my vision perfectly. I've never once loved a picture of myself until now. I actually had to upgrade my photo package because I couldn't say no to so many beautiful photos! Additionally, I felt my confidence level rise during the shoot, she made me feel incredible the whole time and that has stayed with me.
